Good Product - Check Anderson Connection.

"Excellent product but the connections on the Anderson Plug for the power/alternator input were incorrect according to the labels on the plug. The +12v Red was on the earth (GND) and the GND Black cable was on the (L). swapped them over no problems, if you know what you're doing."

Will this product work with smart alternator?
Hi Dear customer, Yes it will.
Both lead acid deep cycle batteries were removed, charged, and load tested at 100amps for 8 seconds, then let to sit overnight with no voltage drop the next morning.

Purchased one of theses last year but didn’t install till this July. (Out of Warranty Period) Worked well after install, till road trip this Aug/sept. Device will not charge. Engine running, device has power but no charge light, no voltage increase at terminals. Engine off, device has charge light on but no increase in voltage at terminals or batteries. Will not charge on solar in bright sunlight Solar charge light comes on when solar panel is in the shade …….. Tried completely disconnecting and leaving over night and reconnecting in the morning to no change. Suggestions?

Can the negative wires be run to a common ground (shunt) for monitoring the aux battery? Thx
It has to be connected to the negative terminal of the aux battery. Cheers.
What does beeping coming from devise mean?
It means there might a battery fault i.e. battery doesn&#x27;t take/hold charge.
