Description

Balancing lightweight design with real freedom, the Kalbarri Lite Gen 2 stands as the nimble sibling of the Kalbarri RTT series. It packs down quickly, maintains a sleek, low-profile presence on your rig. Now upgraded, it raises comfort, convenience, and overall livability to a new level. Now featuring a self-inflating mattress alongside a digital control panel and AC duct opening, nights are more comfortable and relaxed. The rainfly pops up automatically as the tent is raised, removing the need for window rods. At just 11.6 cm in height when packed down, it makes undercover parking and tight garage spaces a breeze. At only 60.5 kg--an impressive 32% lighter than the Kalbarri--it’s easy to handle and can be installed even on a compact SUV. Built with 420D double-ripstop Oxford and 280G poly-cotton, the main body provides 5,000mm of waterproofing. When it’s time to relax, the full-ceiling LED strip light makes every moment feels just right. (Updated version of the tent in video)

Rooftop tent

"It is super comfy slim and have a very smooth look and it fits in with the profile of my car"

Very happy with my purchase of my rooftop tent

"Really happy with the tent. The quality of the build is excellent. The only thing it would be better if it was about 10 centimetres longer. and it could do with extra pockets to put car keys next to your head."

— Greg L. (5/5)

Great RTT. Thank you Vicoffroad!

"First RTT and I could not be more happy! Only slept in it a couple of nights so far but held up very well in the rain. Mounted on Rhino Rack platform and needed to purchase different mounting brackets from Bunnings."

Hard to beat value-for-money

"Couldn't be happier with my experience in the Hotham Lite. I downgraded in size, and the tradeoff in floor space more than makes up for it in ease of use. This tent is just so easy to set up, break down, and I can now park in underground garages. It also made it through a full Portland winter rain season with zero issues. It is tight for me and my two girls, but we make it work. PS: I use the optional memory foam mattress, and that was worth every penny. The only pain is that you can't leave that in because there isn't space - you do have to take it out every time - but it isn't too difficult to do."

Only used it once but

"Only used it once but a great product for under $2000"

So simple to use. . . Very

"So simple to use. . . Very little effect on fuel economy. We like to get going early in the morning and find it really easy to pop the tent during the day and dry it out after an early pickup where we've had rain or condensation."

— Craig (5/5)

You get what you pay for

"Amazing tent, it's light and slim and does not make a big difference on my roof. its comfortable to sleep in, and I haven't had any condensation issues when using the top vent. If you keep it shut, it will have condensation build up, but so will any tent. canvas quality, zips, power inside, and lights are all amazing. Solar had no mounting nuts and bolts, but I found that even bigger name brands are the same, so no issue for me. I went to Bunnings and got some M6 square channel nuts."
