What is the maximum solar system input power that the until will handle at 12V and 24V?
22v for 12v and 44v for 24v.
My controller is outputting 15+ volts into the battery. Is there a problem with the voltage regulation as I thought it should cut out at 14.7v
Yes 15V plus is way too high even for a Lifepo4 battery. Please kindly email back to us with a photo showing this voltage so we can send a replacement ASAP.

good morning. Firstly I love te ATEM range. Have been using solar panels, mppt controllers and dc to dc chargers for a while now. To be honnest the AtemPower 20A MPPT controller is the best on the market. As a hobby I have been making battery boxes. I found that the commercial ones don&#x27;t offer enough fused protection, ventalation, etc. Some of my boxes use the MPPT controller and some are DC to DC charger. Just depends on the application. Im thinking of make a low amp charge box. Rather than buying a 2 ro 4 amp dc to dc charger. Why can I use the 20A MPPT. If I run a buck converter to &quot;control&quot; the volts and amps before the MPPT. (yes all circuits are fused) Then the MPPT should just think that the power comming from the buck converter is just a solar panel. I was thinking of setting the buck to 14v and 2a. Do you see any issue that might arrise from the MPPT controller? Cheers.
Yes, the input from a solar panel should be around 18v-22v so a 14v input will not activate the controller.
