We have been using these in our workshop now for quite a while with very good success , These surface mount sockets have 2 screw holes to fix to thin and thick surfaces , the socket can be screwed out of it's housing (see pictures) . These sockets are 15 amp continuous , 25 amp peak and 0-36 volt rated . Whole unit is 80mm long x 55mm wide at the maximum, 40 mm high at the front tapering to 30mm high at the rear , 45mm center to center between the screw holes.
